48 The Clouds are delicate white porcelain teacups hand-thrown and hand-finished so that each cup is its own piece of functional, tactile art unique from the next. Both inside and outside surfaces of the cups ripple with raised brushstrokes of wet porcelain, painting gentle sensory landscapes that invite the hands to get to know their unique cup more intimately. Cresting the ridges of the brushstrokes are moments of white gold luster that simultaneously catch the light whilst appearing to reveal something deeper within the material they are formed from — creating a contemplative and deeply personal tea-drinking experience.
