Like its companion 45 The Bee, its form recalls the traces of a body in motion — curling, curving, cocooning, circling — keeping close some invisible core. Irregular in form and inward-looking in spirit, The Butterfly evokes introspection and a sense of constant return — self-contained yet expressive as it moves through the world.
The pendant is a tiny sculpture that is removable from its hoop, enabling The Butterfly to be worn in myriad ways. Wear it on its own, as a pair of two butterflies, or with its companion earring 45 The Bee. (Or perhaps as its own necklace on a chain.)
