42 The Willow is formed from two hand-carved cast sterling silver charms that join two lengths of twisted rope chain. One charm nestles in the well of the wearer’s collarbone, while the other settles against the sternum on a seamless circle with hidden clasp. Excess chain length of this adjustable piece then dangles front and center — recalling the graceful branches of a willow tree trailing against the river’s surface. This careful balance of weights and measures give both form and character to the piece — fluid yet regal — always in motion, but deeply rooted.
With every last component made entirely from 100% sterling silver, The Willow offers heirloom-level longevity — much like the willow tree herself — while the textured surfaces of both charms promise to keep record of the heirloom’s many stories, through a natural patina unique to each wearer that will build over time.
